Alternative arrangements for Carole Brown Health Centre patients due to National Road Cycling event
Vida Healthcare has this week discovered a national cycling event will take place and have therefore put alternative arrangements in place for patients.
The Carole Brown Health Centre in Dersingham will offer minimal clinical appointments on Thursday June 27 while the HSBC UK National Time Trial Championships take place in West Norfolk (passing through Dersingham)
The event, promoted by British Cycling, will result in road closures in the area for most of the day.
Vehicular access around the surgery will be significantly restricted while the event takes place but pedestrian access will be available all day albeit significantly affected during the event.
The practice, and dispensary will remain open, but the main clinics will be transferred to Hunstanton Medical Practice to ensure patients have the best possible opportunity to receive healthcare
We are contacting patients who have appointments to make them aware.
Patients are also reminded that NHS 111 is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer help to anyone with an urgent medical need.
We apologise for any inconvenience to our patients caused by the need make these changes.
