Summary Care Record
The Central NHS Computer System is called the Summary Care Record (SCR). It is an electronic record which contains core information about the medicines you take, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had. Storing information in one place makes it easier for healthcare staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed. This information could make a difference to how a doctor decides to care for you, for example which medicines they choose to prescribe for you.

You also have the choice to opt out of the SCR. If you would like to opt out then please complete the form on the link below and hand in at your surgery.

Online Services
As part of the commitment to enable and improve patients’ online interaction with the GP Practice we have a range of online services available which a patient can use to help manage their own healthcare. Patients are able to apply for an online account and password by contacting the Practice team and completing the application process. All newly registering patients with the Practice will be offered this opportunity as part of the registration procedure.
Online services currently offer the ability to book GP appointments, order repeat medication, complete questionnaires, access their Summary Care Record and apply to view their Detailed Coded Record**.

To apply to view your Online "Detailed Coded Record", please complete the form below and return to your surgery. Please Note: You will be asked for photographic ID. If you are unable to provide ID at the desk your application will be refused until which time you can produce some ID.

GP2GP Links
GP2GP enables patients' electronic health records to be transferred directly and securely between GP practices when patients register with a new GP. It improves patient care as GPs will usually have full and detailed medical records available to them for a new patient's first consultation. Vida Healthcare uses GP2GP record transfer.

GP Earnings

From 1/4/15 all GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
For the year to June 20
Mean earnings of all GPs in practice - £63,958
Total number of full time GPs - 7
Total number of part time GPS - 11
Total number of locum GPS – 5
The basis of this calculation is very involved and is in accordance with NHS guidance. Due care should be taken when comparing this figure to other statistical information
