Your Information and Enhanced Data Sharing
You may be aware of some media reporting of increasing concerns about access to patient records under an enhanced data sharing model available within TPP SystmOne.
Under the enhanced data sharing model (EDSM) clinicians, and services, involved in your care, can, with your consent access your medical record if they use the same SystmOne clinical system. Rights to access your information are based on their working role and having a valid smart card. Access is auditable.

We are aware that many patients have received material through the post from 'Pharmacy 2U' inviting them to switch to their online prescription service and use the other services offered on their website, instead of obtaining their prescription medication from their local pharmacist. Please be aware that your information has not been provided by the practice, nor has the content of the material been approved by the practice. Concerns relating to this service should be raised with the General Pharmaceutical Council www.pharmacyregulation.org/
Your Named GP
Once registered all patients are allocated a named GP. If you would like to find out who your named GP is then please speak to reception.
Changes to Online Services
Recently if you have logged into your SystmOnline account you will have noticed some changes.
TPP our system provider have updated what is now available to you as a patient and tightened security around your online account. If you enter your password incorrectly 5 times, your account will automatically be disabled; this will then need to be re-activated by the surgery. Please telephone for this to be completed.
Repeat Medication has also changed slightly. We have had several reports that patients are unable to view there repeat medication. Don’t worry it is there it just takes an extra click to view this now. Follow these steps: (SEE BELOW FOR SCREENSHOTS)
HOME > MEDICATION > MEDICATION (AGAIN)
You can also now be enabled to view your summary care record; you will find a list of your past and repeat medications and allergies. This can be found in the PATIENT RECORD section which is also found within HOME. If you do not currently have access to this element it can be arranged.
Access to more detailed clinical information is currently being trialled but is not widely available yet. Access to this can only be granted following specific written request, more information on this will out soon.
